June classes
Please note that the time of the Tuesday evening class has changed.
Until now we were running it at 4.45pm. From 1 June this class
will happen at 5pm every Tuesday.
There were lots of individual requests to start a new class at
9am Monday or Tuesday. Should you wish to put your name down please
contact me with your preferred day to enable me to consolidate
these plans.
Group Classes
This is good news for anyone who thinks that Pilates is boring
and doesn't have a cardiovascular component. Our group classes
are at a strong intermediate level. You will definitely increase
your heart rate in our fun, challenging, invigorating classes!
If you are a beginner you must first attend a minimum of 4 private
or semi-private sessions before joining a group class.
Maximum 11 people per class. Please book in advance.
Rhythmic Pilates
These high-energy, innovative classes provide further challenge
and faster pace for those who love Pilates, music and dance. Pilates
sequences are specially choreographed to the rhythm of selected
music.
Pregnancy / Back-care Class
Doctor's clearance and sufficient private training is essential
if you wish to join these classes. Long-range exercises and excessive
spinal flexion /extension/ rotation are avoided. The class is
a little slower and gentler but a well-rounded workout is assured.
Please book in advance.
Corporate Pilates Classes
We bring Pilates to your office. These group classes, tailored
for the corporate environment, take place on-site at your company
premises and can be arranged to occur during lunch breaks or flexi-time.
Our corporate Pilates classes will leave your staff feeling mentally
and physically renewed and more focussed. By improving fitness
and developing good postural alignment, back and neck strain can
be reduced. As part of your company's wellness program, the Pilates
technique can assist in boosting productivity and lowering stress-related
absenteeism.
The technique is taught step-by-step to the group as a whole and
is suitable for everyone at any fitness level. As with any exercise
program, doctor's clearance is advisable.
Consider Discreet Pilates at your Desk
DVD as a corporate gift for your staff or clients.
